Edith Jones-Poland, M.D. is the owner/director of the practice. Dr. Jones-Poland majored in molecular and cellular biology at the University of Arizona in Tucson where she went on to earn her Doctorate of Medicine. She worked in several primary care medical practices before deciding to open her own practice in 2007.

"The technology is available today to practice medicine more efficiently. Today's patients are computer savvy medical consumers. They research and comparison shop for their medical providers. They have higher expectations than twenty years ago. It's our job to find ways to provide better customer service and constantly strive to improve patient satisfaction. I listen to my patient's concerns and then hire qualified professionals whose services address those needs. Our medication dispensary, massage therapy and nail care are just a few of the new services available through our office."

Dr. Jones-Poland has plans to "provide a medical home" for her patients in Yucca Valley for many years to come. She, her husband Chris and their three daughters make Yucca Valley their home.
